Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday said the present state government is sincerely working to develop Tripura as an education hub.

Addressing in a blood donation camp organized by Prachya Bharati Higher Secondary School on Friday Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the State Government is keen to make Tripura national and international education hub. He also asserted that his government has been working on enhancing opportunities in higher education so that students do not need to go outside the state to pursue higher studies. He also urged students to be attentive in classrooms and participate in discussions, debates and other co-curricular activities.

“Tripura government has been giving more important for the development of the education sector and the main goal of Tripura government to offer such environment to student that may help students to get the opportunity to qualify national level exam like IAS, IPS, IES and all. 

He said, “Various government and private educational institutions including general degree college, university, law college, National Forensic College, medical college and dental college have been set up in the state presently. Initiatives will be taken up to set up education hub in the state in the future based on these.”

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Rajib Bhattacharjee and others were present.
