A programme was organized on Saturday at Raj Bhawan to observe the Rajasthan Foundation Day. Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the programme.

Addressing in the inaugural ceremony Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu highlighted the heritage, culture and tourism of Rajasthan. Being a shining beacon of the richness of Indian civilisation, Rajasthan is a preserve of ancient & medieval princely heritage showcased in its arts and architecture, he added.

Special Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and CA Raval Hamendra Kumar and others were also present including Businessmen and students from Rajasthan working and studying in Tripura.

Rajasthan, popularly known as the ‘Lands of Kings’, is a state situated in northern India. The state was earlier known as Rajputana and Rajasthan came into existence and got its recognition on March 30, 1949. Hence every year the day March 30th is celebrated as its Foundation Day. The Foundation Day also pays homage to the valour, strong willpower and sacrifice of the people of Rajasthan.
