Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Monday unveiled the Agriculture Book titled “Tripurar Mati er Urbarata, Pariksha, Fosol, Chasbas o Gabesana” In Bengali translated from English book the “Soils of Tripura” here in a function at Agartala Press Club.

Addressing the book unveiling programme here at Agartala Press Club on Monday, the Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that Tripura has made great strides in organic farming and Tripura’s impressive success in creating an eco-friendly farming environment is highly commendable.

Realizing the importance of agriculture in social life and the Indian economy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given special importance to improving the condition of farmers, he said, adding that various schemes have been undertaken to eliminate all the problems faced by the farmers in farming.

The governor urged the farmers of the state to come forward to increase production in various fields by using modern technology. The governor expressed hope that the farmers would be able to better understand what crops can be produced more in the soil of different parts of Tripura by reading the unveiled book.
