2 injured in road mishap
Two college students were seriously injured when a Scooty bearing number TRO4A 8061 collided head on with a vehicle bearing number TRO4 3819 at Shib bari area under Kamalpur police station on Monday. The injured students are identified as Payal Das (21) and Savita Malakar (21) both residents of Debichara village.
It was reported that the two college students were heading towards college to give a examination and the vehicle bearing number TRO4 3819 which was coming from the opposite direction collided head on with their Scooty bearing number TRO4A 8061 at Shib bari area. As a result the rider Payal Das and the pillion rider Savita Malakar of the scooty got injured.
The locals rushed to the spot and informed the fire service. After getting the information fire service personnel rushed to the spot and took them to the Bimal Sinha Memorial Hospital, Kamalpur. The doctors on duty seeing the condition of Payal Das critical referred her to Dhalai District Hospital, Kulai and Savita Malakar is undergoing treatment at Bimal Sinha Memorial Hospital, Kamalpur.
