Education system has improved a lot in Tripura, says Mayor Dipak Majumder
The education system in Tripura has improved a lot said mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder while addressing in the inaugural session of district level 1-day orientation programme for school heads (SB, HIGH & H.S. SCHOOL – GOVT. AND GOVT. AIDED) School health and wellness programme on under “AYUSMAN BHARAT” Organised by district education office, West Tripura at Town Hall on Saturday.
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder said teachers imparted knowledge and wisdom thereby showing the path for future citizens and played a key role in building and strengthening the ethical and moral foundations of students.
He also asserted that the state government has been working on enhancing opportunities in higher education so that students do not need to go outside the state to pursue higher studies. “Tripura government has been giving more importance to the development of the education sector and the main goal of Tripura government is to offer such an environment to students that may help students to get the opportunity to qualify national level exams like IAS, IPS, IES and all. Teachers play a crucial role in shaping the society and they must strive to impart quality education to students at all times, he added.
