Assam Rifles organizes awareness lecture for NCC cadets

Assam Rifles under Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) conducted awareness lecture on “Assam Rifles” for NCC cadets attending “Combined Annual Training Camp” organised by 71 Tripura Girls Company, NCC at Netaji Subhas Regional Coaching Centre, Agartala, on (September 20) Wednesday. The aim of the lecture was to make cadets aware of Inception of the Assam Rifles in the northeast, its role, various operational successes, battle honours received, recruitment procedure for different trades including age relaxations & service benefits. The cadets were greatly benefited with the efforts of Assam Rifles in conducting the informative lecture. A total of 266 cadets along with instructors attended the informative lecture.
