The BJP-led Tripura government is working on various schemes for the welfare of the people of the state. Government aims to provide income to every household. To achieve this various schemes of the central and state governments are being extended to the people of marginalized areas, said Minister of Power, Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare and Election Department Ratan Lal Nath after inaugurating the newly constructed Shelter House of Mohanpur Pur Parishad at Mohanpur Block Complex on Friday.

The BJP-led Tripura government has given utmost importance to build self-reliant Tripura. Various plans are being implemented to build self-reliant Tripura, he added.

The state government is planning to construct such shelter houses in various subdivisions. Already 8 shelter houses have been constructed including Mohanpur. The present government is trying to make Tripura a self-sufficient state by making everyone, especially women, self-reliant from the village level. People in rural areas are being made self-reliant through self-help groups, he added.

One crore sixty seven lakh forty two thousand rupees has been spent for the construction of this shelter house.

Mohanpur Pur Parishad Chairperson Anita Debnath, Vice Chairperson Shankar Dev, Mohanpur Panchayat Samiti Chairman Reena Debbarma, Vice Chairman Rakesh Dev, Urban Development Department Officer Rajat kanti Dey, and others were present in the inaugural ceremony.
