Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday thanked the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Electricity personnel, Fire department and other emergency services who worked diligently to keep services going during the terrible weather conditions caused by Cyclone Remal in Tripura.

In a social media post, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that, even though the normal public life is a bit disrupted in different parts of the state, the administration is continuing all kinds of efforts to make the services right for the people.  I salute the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Electricity personnel, Fire department and other emergency services who work tirelessly in this disaster weather. I am urging the people of all parts to extend their hand to the administration and the government to cooperate until the situation becomes normal, the post added.

It is mentioned here that the Indian Meteorological Department issued a red alert for the state of Tripura, the Tripura government has shutdown all educational institutions and Anganwadi Centres for two days till May 28 due to cyclone ‘Remal’.
