AMC organizes Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir
Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Monday organized Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir at Agartala town hall. Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumdar, Deputy Mayor Monika Das Dutta, Commissioner Dr Shailesh Yadav and other councillors of AMC were present.
Speaking on the occasion Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumdar said that the safai karamcharis of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) are working round the clock to make the city clean. The Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and the wards are also organizing health camps to provide facilities to the safai karamcharis. We are also committed to ensure the safeguard of safai karamcharis, the Mayor added.
BJP-led Tripura government is working for overall development of the people of the state. Tripura has created a model of ‘good governance and protection of people’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of the state would have to carry forward the tradition. The Modi government scaled up schemes and enhanced speed to achieve targets so that they reached the last person in society, he added.
