Tripura to host 22nd North East Fide Rating Chess Championship 2024, said President of ALL Tripura Chess Association Abhijit Moulick.Udaipur would be the venue for the event (December 17 to December 21), he said, adding it is a regional chess event recognized by All India Chess Federation (AICF) where players from all North East States will take part.Around 300 players are expected to take part in the Championship, Moulick said, adding that the championship will provide an opportunity to young and talented chess lovers to play with top players of North East States.
