Sushanta Chowdhury interacts with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury interacted with the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana while attending a interaction programme with PMAY (G) beneficiaries and distribution of panchayat award at Agnibina hall at Jirania on Friday.
Addressing on the occasion Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury said that every man always has a wish in his mind that he has his own home. Every person from poor to poorer has a dream of his own home. No matter how small it is, the happiness of being in your own home is known by the one who has found a perfect house through this project, no one else can feel the happiness. Every man has a dream to have a perfect home. The Central and State Government are working on this mission, he added.
The central and state government are moving forward by keeping villages at the center of every policy formulation and every effort. We are trying to make our villages in modern India self capable, self dependent. That’s why the role of panchayats is being extended, giving new rights to panchayats, the work of connecting every village through optical fiber net to digitalize the panchayats are going on in full swing, he added.
