Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday inaugurated the Sri Krishna Janmashtami Utsav-2023 at Sri Krishna Mandir, Agartala.
Addressing in the inaugural ceremony Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha said that there is no greater service than serving people. God exists within man. God can be found only through human service. He said, without God’s blessings, we cannot move forward. God exists within every living being, he added.
The chief minister said that demons and divinity co-exist in humans. Asuras should be killed and divinity should prevail. It will benefit the society as well as the environment. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a religious atmosphere is being observed across the country. The Prime Minister is taking the country forward by prioritizing the development of traditional culture and heritage. The present government of the state is also working in that direction. The BJP-led Tripura government is working for overall development of the people of the state. Tripura has created a model of ‘good governance and protection of people’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of the state would have to carry forward the tradition, he added. The Narendra Modi government scaled up various welfare schemes keeping the poor in focus and expedited their implementation. The Modi government scaled up schemes and enhanced speed to achieve targets so that they reached the last person in society, he added.
