Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s successful leadership, the country is coming together to realize the dream of “One India Great India”, says Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.

Speaking to the reporters, after distributing sweets at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial old-age home in Narshingarh on Sunday to celebrate the 73rd birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that India has emerged as a strong, self-reliant country in the last nine years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Due to his policies and decisions in the interest of the country, India’s reputation has grown all over the world, he said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously working for the growth of poor and marginalized sections of the society. His government is working to give social justice, equality, respect, and equal opportunities to all citizens. Empowering every citizen to make India win against poverty is his aim. His strategies and policies have extensively supported the underprivileged, he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched the scheme named PM Vishwakarma, the scheme is a ray of hope for lakhs of artisans and craftspeople who work with hands and tools. This scheme is to support the people engaged in traditional crafts. This focus is driven by the desire to not only support the artisans and craftspeople financially but also to keep the age-old tradition, culture, and diverse heritage alive and flourishing through local products, art, and crafts. Eighteen traditional crafts will be covered under PM Vishwakarma, he added.

For the growth of poor and marginalized sections of the society Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already launched several schemes namely Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna, (PMGKAY), PM Ujjwala Yojna, (PMUY), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and several others, he added.
