Tripura celebrates Radha Ashtami
Along with the nation, Tripura also celebrated the Radha Ashtami at International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKON), Agartala, on Saturday.
Minister for youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education and Labour Tinku Roy and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Rajib Bhattacharjee was also present at the celebration of Radha Ashtami at International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKON).

Radha Ashtami the birth anniversary of Radharani who is an avatar of Goddess Mahalakshmi is celebrated as Radha Ashtami among the devotees of Lord Krishna. This auspicious festival of Radha Ashtami also known as Radha Jayanti is commemorated on the Ashtami (8th day) of the Shukla Paksha the bright fortnight of the moon, during the Hindu month of Bhadrapada of Bhadon.
