Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday laid the foundation stone of the new school building at Kalacherra HS School in North Tripura.

Addressing the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Saha emphasized the government’s commitment to the comprehensive development in the education infrastructure. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been continuously laying emphasis on the importance of education for a stronger nation & we have been working in the same direction. The transformation in education system that came through our continuous efforts is now visible everywhere in the state, he added.

He asserted that education, health, and agriculture are among the top priority areas for the current state government. To achieve progress in all sectors, the government continues to work on new initiatives and plans, aiming to enhance school-level education and provide children with a value-based, high-quality education, he added.

The present state government is committed to development of infrastructure for the progress of education in the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With this aim, our efforts continue in rural areas as well as the city, he added.

He also asserted that his government has been working on enhancing opportunities in higher education so that students do not need to go outside the state to pursue higher studies. He also urged students to be attentive in classrooms and participate in discussions, debates and other co-curricular activities.

“Tripura government has been giving more important for the development of the education sector and the main goal of Tripura government to offer such environment to student that may help students to get the opportunity to qualify national level competitive exams.
