CM Dr. Manik Saha chairs review meeting on traffic management of Agartala city
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Saturday chaired a review meeting on traffic management of Agartala city at the secretariat.
In the meeting Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha discussed the issues of parking management and traffic congestion in Agartala city. The traffic in the state is increasing every day. But the road remains the same. So it is necessary to plan on possible aspects of road widening. Traffic management needs to be strengthened to control road congestion, the Chief Minister said in the meeting.
Chief Secretary J K Sinha, Director General of State Police Amitabh Ranjan, Secretary Dr. Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty, Secretary of Urban Development Department Abhishek Singh, Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav and District Magistrate of West Tripura and Dr. Vishal Kumar among others attended the meeting.
