2 critically injured in road mishap
Two persons were critically injured when a Bolero bearing number TR080246 dashed a bike bearing number TR03M9005 at Charilam on Tuesday night. The injured persons are identified as bike rider Debraj Deb resident of Udaipur and pillion rider Sushmita resident of Agartala.
It was reported that a bike bearing number TR03M9005 while heading towards Agartala from Udaipur was dashed by a Bolero bearing number TR080246 which was coming from the opposite direction at Charilam. As a result the bike rider and pillion rider fell from the bike and received serious injuries.
According to the eyewitnesses the accident occurred due to the reckless driving of the Bolero driver. The Bolero driver fled away after the accident along with his vehicle.
The locals rushed to the spot and informed the fire service and the police. According to the locals the fire service personnel did not come in time, so the locals took the injured to the Bishalgarh Sub-divisional Hospital. The doctors on duty seeing the condition of Sushmita very critical referred her to GB hospital.
