Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday inaugurated the state level celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas to commemorate the birth anniversary of indigenous freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
Addressing the gathering the Chief Minister Dr Saha said that his government is committed to ensure enhancing the socio-economic status of the indigenous tribes of the state. He said, “Government is working diligently to ensure that all the developmental schemes of both the Central and the state government reaches to the genuine beneficiaries of the state.”
Dr Saha emphasised on the government’s mission mode approach towards the development of the tribal population across the state.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister on Wednesday also launched ‘Prati Ghore Susashan 2.0’ campaign and joined the official inauguration of Centre’s ‘Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ to apprise the people of the state about the government schemes and developmental project works.
“Both the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Prati Ghore Susashan 2.0 is a massive outreach campaign to carry the government’s flagship projects and schemes to the doorstep of the beneficiaries within the time frame,” he said.
Senior cabinet minister Ratan Lal Nath, state tribal welfare minister Bikash Debbarma, state cooperative minister Sukla Charan Noatia, Chief Secretary J K Sinha, DGP Amitabh Ranjan and others were present in the programme.
