In a major crackdown against Marijuana (Ganja) cultivation, the Border Security Force (BSF) along with Forest department officials on Friday uprooted 70,000 Marijuana (Ganja) plants in deep forest area under Kalamcherra police station.

Border Security Force (BSF) and Forest department officials launched operations in several locations and effectively destroyed approximately 70,000 Marijuana (Ganja) plants in a single comprehensive campaign.
A BSF official said “Our operation was a resounding success, and we are committed to curbing drug cultivation in the region. We destroyed 70,000 Marijuana (Ganja) plants and the estimated market value of the confiscated narcotics is approximately Rs 15 lakh.”
