The Bharatiya Janata Party’s youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) will organize nationwide ‘Navamatdata Sammelan’ on January 25.
Briefing the media persons on Wednesday at BJP sate office Pradesh BJYM president Sushanta Deb said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently emphasised the importance of new voters (Navamatdata) to amplify the party’s presence among the youth and fortify their connection with our vibrant democracy. In pursuit of this objective, the Yuva Morcha is organizing a nationwide Navamatdata Sammelan on January 25. As a part of it Pradesh BJYM will organize ‘Navamatdata Sammelan’ in all the 60 assembly constituencies of the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the new voters through video conferencing, he added.
The Navamatadata Sammelan, aims at engaging and registering new voters (Nav Matdata) to foster their active participation in our vibrant democracy. BJYM will be organizing 5000 Sammelans, each engaging a minimum of 1000 NavMatdata across all Vidhan Sabhas in the country, he added.
Yuva Morcha has done widespread outreach from educational institutions and youth organisations to households, playgrounds, and coaching centres, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all avenues that resonate with the youth. Special efforts have been made to engage and register Navamatdata as Viksit Bharat Ambassadors encouraging a sense of responsibility and active citizenship. BJP national president JP Nadda launched the digital registration portal for registration of fresh voters on January 13. From Booth Adhyaksh to the party’s state president all the leaders of the party and the karyakartas are working diligently to sensitize Nav Matdata and facilitate their registration on the portal”, he added.
