Minister Tinku Roy inaugurates felicitation of girl child project ‘Muskaan’
Minister for youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education and Labour Tinku Roy on Tuesday inaugurated a felicitation of girl child project ‘Muskaan, under Beti Bachao Beti Podhao organized by Agartala 2 ICDS Project in collaboration with district administration at Muktodhara Auditorium.
Addressing the felicitation program , Minister for youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education and Labour Tinku Roy said girls today are no longer behind. Women’s excellence is now recognized in every field of society. From the president of the country to the space scientist, girls are everywhere. Girls are now participating in the country’s management with competence. Today the daughters of the country are illuminating the name of India in every field, he added.
The BJP-led Tripura government is working for overall development of the people of the state. Tripura has created a model of ‘good governance and protection of people’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of the state would have to carry forward the tradition, he added.
The Narendra Modi government scaled up various welfare schemes keeping the poor in focus and expedited their implementation. The Modi government scaled up schemes and enhanced speed to achieve targets so that they reached the last person in society, he added.
India has emerged as a strong, self-reliant country in the last nine years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Due to his policies and decisions in the interest of the country, India’s reputation has grown all over the world, he said.
