Tripura: CM Dr. Manik Saha inaugurates spices distribution programme
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today formally inaugurated the spices distribution programme through ration shops at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan.
Addressing in the programme Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that from now on, the state government will supply packed powder spices such as chillies, turmeric, cumin and coriander through subsidy ration shops. A new feather added to the public distribution system of the state, he added.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi , our government is committed to strengthening the mass distribution system, and delivering daily essential commodities to the last person in the society at subsidy, he added.
Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury and other dignitaries were present.
