Mimi Majumder working to strengthen party’s women wing ahead of LS Polls
The former MLA and presently President of Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha Tripura Pradesh Mimi Majumder on Tuesday visited the Gomati district of the state and took part in a series of programmes of her party to strengthen the women wing of the BJP ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha elections.
Mimi Majumder has been working round the clock to gain ground for the elections with active participation of women across the state. She embarked on her journey to the Gomati district of the state seeking blessing from spiritual guru and head of the Shantikali Ashram in Amarpur Chitta Maharaj.
Later she headed the BJP’s ‘Shakti Bandhan’ campaign at Amarpur Town Hall, organised by the Amarpur Mandal committee to apprise the women of the subdivision about the Modi govt’s welfare schemes for women.
She later moved to chair an organisational meeting of the Mahila Morcha, organised by the Kakrabon Mandal and joined the ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ at Kakrabon Mandal booth.
