Mimi leads Nari Shakti Vandhan marathon; says, PM Modi gave new dimension to women empowerment
The BJP’s state unit of Mahila Morcha president and former MLA Mimim Majumder on Monday lead the party’s Nari Shakti Vandhan Marathon run involving a large section of women in Gomati district of the state.
Briefing about the marathon run, Mimi Majumder said that the run is a part of three days long Nari Shakti Vandhan programme called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate women’s day on March 8 next.
“PM Modi has brought a new dimension to the women empowerment across the country, where the women are being benefitted at large,” she said, adding that PM Modi has taken several initiatives towards the overall development of women, their safety, security and most importantly empowerment.
She said, “From this run we will also ensure that Narendra Modi is elected as the Prime Minister for yet another term for holding on to the developmental pace.”
