Minister Sudhangshu Das chairs district level review meeting on various development scheme
Minister of SC Welfare, Fishery & ARDD Department Sudhangshu Das on Thursday chaired a West Tripura district level review meeting on various development schemes under SC Welfare, Fishery & Animal Resource Development Department (ARDD) at Agartala.
In the review meeting all the ongoing schemes of SC Welfare, Fishery & ARDD Department were discussed. The government is working towards becoming self-sufficient and ensure adequate supply of animal origin food including milk, meat, fish and egg. He said that the meeting is to mainly discuss the present status of the production and consumption rate of milk, meat, fish and egg.
Minister of SC Welfare, Fishery & ARDD Department Sudhangshu Das also held detailed discussions with all the officials to ensure that all the facilities allotted to the common people by the department are properly availed by the people, besides instructions were given to implement all the projects in the interest of the public within the time frame.
The meeting was also to find out the feasibility of income generation for the unemployed youths of the state under the ARDD and Fisheries department, he said, adding that the focus will also be put on the present status of the implementation of different government schemes under the SC welfare department.
