Lok Sabha Polls 2024: BJP holds campaign rally
Just after the Election Commission announced the dates for the Lok Sabha Polls 2024, the BJP Tripura Sadar (Sahar) District committee on Saturday organized a campaign rally to vote for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominated Lok Sabha candidate for West Tripura constituency Biplab Kumar Deb and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominated Lok Sabha candidate for East Tripura constituency Kriti Singh Debbarma. The state has two Lok Sabha seats that have been with the BJP since 2019.
The BJP’s state Mahila Morcha President Mimi Majumder and other state leaders were present in the rally. Speaking to reporters Mimi Majumder said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is on track for a momentous victory in the Lok Sabha Polls 2024. She however hoped that the BJP in this Lok Sabha election will gain ground with a giant margin of votes to give a befitting reply to the oppositions. Tripura has created a model of ‘good governance and protection of people’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Narendra Modi government scaled up various welfare schemes keeping the poor in focus and expedited their implementation. The Modi government scaled up schemes and enhanced speed to achieve targets so that they reached the last person in society, she added.
