Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominated Lok Sabha candidate for West Tripura constituency Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for various women empowerment schemes of the government.

Addressing an election rally at Belonia on Friday, Biplab Kumar Deb said that the Prime Minister is trying to take the women of the country to the forefront. The state government is also implementing various schemes to make women self-reliant. The main thrust of the development of the state government is to extend the benefits of development projects to the people living in the most marginalized areas. “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas” are the main driving forces of the current government. The government has given utmost importance to the socio-economic upliftment of the people of the state, he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched many projects aimed at empowering women. The present state government has been working on the goal of women self-empowerment in the state since its inception. The state government is keen to ensure women led development in the state, he added.

 The communist party unleashed terror tactics across the state before elections during their rule, where the general people were scared of coming out of their house to cast their vote. Situation has changed now with the BJP assuming power, Biplab Kumar Deb said.

He said, “People refused the understanding of Congress-CPI-M and voted BJP-IPFT to power yet again in 2023 elections. This time too people of this state will vote for BJP and make Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.”

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee, BJP’s state Mahila Morcha President Mimi Majumder and others were also present.
