Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury on Tuesday appealed to the voters to keep trust in BJP and reject the ‘unholy’ Congress-CPI(M) alliance in the ensuing Lok Sabha election and 7-Ramnagar assembly constituency by election.
Addressing an election rally at Ramnagar Gangail road in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominated Lok Sabha candidate for West Tripura constituency Biplab Kumar Deb and BJP candidate for the 7-Ramnagar assembly constituency by election Dipak Majumder,  Sushanta Chowdhury said, “Both the Congress and the CPI(M) party had exploited and used the indigenous community people as their vote bank and no development was made during the last 25 years.”
“People have understood the tactics of the Congress and CPI(M) and hence people started putting trust on the BJP, which is committed to bring development for the people of the State,  Sushanta Chowdhury  said, adding that only Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sincerely working for the overall welfare of the people.
The communist party unleashed terror tactics across the state before elections during their rule, where the general people were scared of coming out of their house to cast their vote. Situation has changed now with the BJP assuming power, where history was created in the last 2023 general assembly elections in the state, where a complete violence-free was held. But on the other hand, the Congress and CPI-M mislead the people of Tripura with their understanding, Sushanta Chowdhury said. He said, “People refused the understanding of Congress-CPI-Mand voted BJP-IPFT to power yet again in 2023 elections. This time too people of this state will vote for BJP and make Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.

Deputy Speaker of the state legislative assembly Ram Prasad Paul, BJP candidate for the 7-Ramnagar assembly constituency Dipak Majumder and others were present.
