Police arrests six drug peddlers
Tripura Police arrested six drug peddlers and seized 12 grams of heroin from Chatra Sangha Club area on Tuesday night.
The police stated that they received a crucial tip-off regarding six drug peddlers, on the basis of the tip-off police personnel from West Agartala Police Station laid a trap at Chatra Sangha Club area and arrested six drug peddlers and seized 12 grams of heroin from their possession. The six arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Gourab Chakraborty resident of East Pratapgarh, Suman Debnath resident of Nandannagar area, Shayan Deb resident of Bhotapokhor area, Rakesh Debnath resident of Ramsundar Nagar, Prakash Kar resident of Bishalgarh and Kaushik Saha resident of Colonel Chowmuhani.
All the Six accused were booked under relevant sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
