5 Bangladeshi nationals, 1 Indian tout held

In yet another major crackdown on illegal infiltration, the police personnel from Sonamura Police Station detained at 5 Bangladeshi nationals and another Indian tout from Dhaliai area on Friday.
The Bangladeshi nationals were identified as Kadir Mia (50), Sarif Mia (34), Abdul Latib (45), Mansoor Ali (30), (5) Siam Ali, while the Indian tout was identified as Andul Rob of Sonamura in Sepahijala district.
Acting on a tip-off police personnel from Sonamura Police Station conducted a raid in the houses of Andul Rob and Subrata Lashkar. During the raid police officials detained 5 Bangladeshi nationals from the houses.
