ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED Ex SERVICEMEN RALLY AT AGARTALA
Assam Rifles in Tripura organised Ex Servicemen Rally at Agartala, Tripura on 24 May 2024 displaying its unflinching commitment towards its Veer Naris, widows of bravehearts and the Veterans. The rally covered all districts of the states of Tripura with 172 ExSMs, Veer Naris & their families attending the event. The rally commenced with opening remarks by Deputy Inspector General of Assam Rifles. In his address, he welcomed all Veer Naris, Widows of bravehearts & Ex Servicemen to the mega event. He highlighted Assam Rifle’s solidarity with its fallen heroes & veterans and assured that the force remains committed to their needs and would take every step to look after them well. He also reiterated the goal of the organization to ensure them a dignified life and early resolution to their pension related and health issues faced by them. A number of stalls were established to cater the ESM needs and their grievances were recorded with an aim to resolve their issues on the spot. Other facilities provided were medical checkup including Counseling & basic treatment by an Oncologist, Job enrollment opportunities in LIC, Dental Checkup facility, CSD extension counter and a State Bank of India Counter. The event concluded with distribution of gifts to the attendes. The event was indicative of Assam Rifles commitment to honour it’s veterans, fallen heroes and their families for their loyalty and selfless service provided to the nation. The intiative was highly appreciated by the ExSM, Veer Naris, Widows and their families.
