Workshop on National Quality Assurance Program held at Agartala
A day-long workshop on National Quality Assurance Program is held here at Agartala Pragna Bhavan on Friday for wider discussions on the utility of quality assurance programs and improving service quality in hospitals in the state.
The Secretary of the state health department Kiren Gitte accompanied by Advisor of Quality and Patient Safety Division of National Health System Resource Center Dr J N Srivastava, Consultant of Quality Assurance of National Health System Resource Center Abhay Dahiya, Consultant, Regional Research Center – North East Dr Ravikar Singh and others were present in the workshop.
The resource persons exchanged ideas with the representatives from different districts about providing quality health services to the citizens, making the treatment system more effective and efficient, and keeping the health centers clean.
Among others present in the workshop were Mission Director of National Health Mission Rajib Dutta, Director of Health Rights Dr. Sanjeev Debbarma, Joint Mission Director of National Health Mission Binoy Bhushan Das and other officials.
