Teachers play a key role in moulding students, says Mayor Dipak Majumder
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder said teachers imparted knowledge and wisdom thereby showing the path for future citizens and played a key role in building and strengthening the ethical and moral foundations of students.
Addressing in the inaugural ceremony of mega quiz competition organized by 39 number ward of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder said educational institutions are sacred places. Here children are taught to be real human beings.
He also said that due to the strong efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is progressing in every field including the education sector. The teaching of the teachers and their motivational speeches make a deep impression on the minds of the students. Which paves the way for future students? Teachers also have an important role in the mental development of students, he added.
In the mega quiz competition students from 22 schools participated. Councilor of 39 number ward Alok Roy and others were present.
