Tripura: CM Dr Manik Saha inaugurates blood donation camp
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday inaugurated a blood donation camp organized by State Engineers Association at Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel in Agartala and said that engineers play a major role in building a society.
He said that the engineers have a major role in implementing public welfare projects of the government. Engineers have an important responsibility in the society, he said adding that the engineers have contributed to infrastructure development in road construction, electricity expansion, health and education.
The Chief Minister said that engineers should apply more innovative thinking to solve common people’s problems.
In addition to the blood donation camp, the engineers body on Sunday felicitated the toppers of board examinations. The Chief Minister handed over the financial assistance to the students.
Chief Engineer Amit Das, Engineer Bimal Das. Engineer Surya Kumar Debbarma and others were present in the programme.
