13 Students faints during Independence Day rehearsal

The sudden rise in temperature and humidity on 13 August resulted in several students getting fainted during the Cultural program rehearsal of independence day at Assam rifles parade ground. A total of 13 students were admitted at Assam rifles Unit hospital for emergency medical treatment out of which three were referred to specialists in Govt hospital.
According to school teacher who was accompanying the students told our reporter that students were practicing hard for the independence day rehearsal and because of the sudden rise in temperature and humidity, some of the children could not bear the harsh weather conditions and fainted.
