A leopard cat cub was rescued by the Tripura police from Dhaleswar area on Sunday.The officer in charge of East Agartala Police station Rana Chaterjee informed that while on patrol one police personnel from East Agartala Police station noticed that some locals were trying to rescue a small cat cub. Immediately he went to the rescue and realised that it was a leopard cat cub. After rescuing the little cub he brought it to the police station. The cub was later handed over to the forest department officials. The forest department officials will take it to the Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, Rana Chaterjee said.
