13 Trípura Bn NCC organizes awareness rally
The 13 Trípura Bn NCC today organized an awareness rally on the occasion of World Environment Day 2023. The rally started from NSRCC, Netaji Chowmuhani, Agartala. A total of 200 cadets participated in the rally.
The main objective of the rally is to spread awareness among the people to save the environment. The environment’s equilibrium was constantly worsening due to the shortage of trees and plants. Planting trees was vital to maintain the environment’s balance, said a NCC official.
World Environment Day is celebrated on the 5th of June every year. It was celebrated for the first time in 1974. The United Nations General Assembly decided to gather all nations together in this respect to bring forth attention to the kinds of environmental problems that are a risk to not just the entire human race but also to animals and plants. Every year, a different country hosts the celebration of Environment Day. The theme for World Environment Day depends on the environmental problems that have to be administered immediately and differs year to year.
