Governor attends Biannual Group Commanders Conference- 2024
Governor of Tripura Indra Sena Reddy Nallu on Wednesday graced the Biannual Group Commanders Conference- 2024 held at 21 Sector Assam Rifles, Agartala and interacted with the Officers and Cadets of NCC of Northeastern Region.
Speaking on the occasion Governor of Tripura Indra Sena Reddy Nallu said NCC is not just a parade ground or an educational institution. NCC is a larger platform to learn about Indian philosophy, culture, history, music, civilization and other subjects. Major General Gagandeep, ADG of Assam Rifles and Group Commanders and others were present. Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu also urged the NCC cadets to make their dreams come true.
Major General Gagandeep Additional Director General, North Eastern Region of NCC said that there are currently 5,300 NCC cadets in 95 schools and colleges in the state, including 2 thousand 500 girls cadets.
