The BJP-led Tripura government is working for overall development of the people of the state. Our main aim is to how we can help people and how they can be benefitted. Our government is working to provide all kinds of benefits to people and keeping a close eye on their problems. Our main priority is to solve the basic problems of common people, said Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while addressing in a Blood Donation Camp organized by Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET) at Sukanta Academy on Sunday.
The present State Govt is giving equal importance to urban & rural development. The Engineers play a major role in this development journey, he added. He also thanked the Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET) for donating Rs. 1 lakh to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The Chief Minister said, “I want to appeal to the people of our state to cooperate with the government. Our government is a pro-people government. Our main aim is to how we can help people and how they can be benefitted. Our government is working to provide all kinds of benefits to people and keeping a close eye on their problems. Our main priority is to solve the basic problems of common people”.
He said the BJP’s double-engine government at the Centre and in the State is gradually turning Tripura into a “trade gateway and logistics hub” of northeast India. Tripura has progressed a lot, including infrastructure development, good governance and other services, since 2018 when the BJP-Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) government came to power in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha pointed out that much development has taken place in the state in the areas of highways, railways and digitisation. A lot of development has also taken place in the areas of digitisation and railway connectivity, he said.
Tripura has created a model of ‘good governance and protection of people’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of the state would have to carry forward the tradition, he added.
Each unit of blood donated is separated into four major components -platelets, plasma, red blood cells and white blood cells which can be used to save four lives. We can segregate blood components these days and one unit is used to save lives, he added.
Blood donation is a noble cause. The blood supply has become much normal in different blood banks in the state due to the spontaneous response of various social organizations and organizations for organizing voluntary blood donation camps. But blood will always be demanded. So, considering this matter, we have to continue this effort in the future, he further said.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Rajib Bhattacharjee and other dignitaries were present.
