All the students of the state are busy and gearing up to celebrate Teachers Day on September 05. A teacher’s role in everyone’s life is akin to a mud potter who converts undesirable mud into a beautiful and utilizable pot. In India, teacher’s day is observed on September 5 since 1962 to mark the contribution made by the teachers to the society. The day commemorates the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a philosopher and a teacher par excellence, and his contribution towards the education system of India.
Students are designing attractive greeting cards embossed with touching quotes and messages to baking cakes and choosing big bouquets of flowers, students are also coming up with ingenious ways to make the day memorable for their teachers. Most of students are gearing up for a role reversal on September 05. Every year on Teachers’ Day, students dress up as their teachers and take classes of their juniors while the teachers get an opportunity to unwind and get pampered by the students. Celebration of Teachers’ Day is fairly popular in many countries across the world and is even acknowledged by UNESCO.
On Teacher’s day, students dress up as their teachers and take lectures in classes that are assigned to the teachers they represent.
