CM Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates SHG Credit Linkage & Financial Inclusion Programme
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday (November 28) Inaugurated the SHG Credit Linkage and Financial Inclusion Programme organised by UCO Bank, Zonal Office, Agartala, at Sukanta Academy.
During the programme Ms. Brahmneet Kaur, IAS & CEO, TRLM, Mr. Vijaykumar N Kamble, Executive Director, UCO Bank; Mr. Ranjeet Singh, General Manager, Financial Inclusion, UCO Bank; Mr. Raju Das, Zonal Manager, Agartala Zone; Mr. Ashish Sharma, Deputy Zonal Head, Agartala Zone; Mr. Saurabh Trivedi, Chief Manager and other dignitaries were also present.
The programme was attended by around two hundred seventy SHGs members and other beneficiaries of different schemes.
Addressing in the inaugural ceremony Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas” and also emphasized on “Vocal for Local”.During the programme CM also handed over the cheque of Rupees Two Crores to Chief Executive Officer, TRLM on behalf of 130 SHG groups in the state of Tripura. He has also distributed cheque to 4 SHGS during the event.
Chief Minister also congratulated and appreciated UCO Bank for improving the livelihood of rural people by offering SHG Accounts & providing Credit linkage to them. This scheme also helps in developing Entrepreneurship skills. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has encouraged UCO Bank branches in Tripura, for creating more entrepreneurs in Tripura.
