Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday thanked the voters of the three states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan over the win of the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) and said that the people of the country started rejecting the I.N.D.I.A alliance ahead of the ensuing Lok Sabha election.
Addressing a press conference here at the party headquarter at Agartala, Dr Saha said, “BJP’s win in three states ahead of the Lok Sabha poll means guarantee of prime minister Narendra Modi.”
“The result reflected PM Modi’s immense contribution for the development of the country. People of this nation are rejecting the oppositions time and again to choose BJP, which is committed to bring all round development to this Nation,” Dr Saha told reporters.
“The victory shows that people rejected Congress and their so-called alliance partners because of their anti-development history and misleading politics,” he said, adding that BJP’s win in three states is a reflection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s victory in the ensuing Lok Sabha election.
He said, “With the win in three states today, we are confident of sweeping the ensuing Lok Sabha election and that way we will be able to gift two lotuses to PM Modi.” He pointed out that Modiji’s contribution in bringing back the past glory of India and paradigm shift for inclusive development have once again been proved in the results of three major state’s elections.
