Former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly will visit the state on Monday to officially take charge as the Brand Ambassador of Tripura Tourism, said Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury.
Briefing the media persons on Sunday at Geetanjali Guest House, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury said Sourav Ganguly is scheduled to arrive in Tripura around 6 pm on Monday. From the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, he will go to Ujjayanta Palace, where an agreement for making him the brand ambassador of state tourism will be signed. Later in the evening, Ganguly will have a courtesy meeting with the Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha at 07:30 PM.
On December 12, Sourav Ganguly will depart for Chabimura at 06:00 AM. The morning is dedicated to shooting at Chabimura, a picturesque location known for its stunning landscapes. The tentative schedule for shooting is from 08:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Afterwards, Ganguly will depart for Agartala at 11:45 AM. Upon his return to Agartala at 02:00 PM, Ganguly will enjoy lunch before engaging in more promotional activities, including shooting at Ujjayanta Palace. The whirlwind tour concludes with his departure for Kolkata at 07:55 PM.
