AR organizes lecture on women empowerment
Assam Rifles organised a lecture on Women empowerment in Teliamura, Khowai district of Tripura on 13 February 2024. Lecture aimed to uplift and empower women in every sphere of life. The event was attended by women from all walks of life including students, professionals and homemakers, who were explained the importance of women empowerment for the progress of the society and shared their experience. Information about variours initiatives of the Government such as Mahila Samakhya, Sukanya Samridhi Yojna, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, etc was also disseminated to the audience.
Assam Rifles conduct such lectures regularly to empower women and provide them a platform for personal and professional growth. The attendees appreciated the efforts made by Assam Rifles to educate them on these important schemes.
