One died, 3 injured in road mishap
One person died and three persons were seriously injured when two private cars collided head-on at Karaimura area of Bagma on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Debadrita Choudhury while the injured are Aditya Saha, Lakshmi Saha and Samir Roy, all residents of Agartala.
It was reported that the deceased Debadrita Choudhury, including the injured, were returning to Agartala from Mata Tripurasundari temple in Udaipur when another private car which was coming from the opposite direction collided head-on. As a result Debadrita Choudhury died on the spot and three persons were seriously injured. According to the eyewitnesses the accident occurred due to the reckless driving of both the drivers.
The locals rushed to the spot and informed the fire service and the police. After getting the information fire service personnel and police personnel rushed to the spot and took them to Hospital.
