Mimi leading Nari Shakti Vandhan marathon across Tripura ahead of LS Polls
In order to appreciate the cause of women upliftment by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP’s state unit of Mahila Morcha president and former MLA Mimi Majumder is gaining the ground of the ensuing Lok Sabha elections by leading BJP’s core programme – Nari Shakti Vandhan across the state.
Walking on a padyatra of Nari Shakti Vandhan, joined by a large section of women at Sonamura sub-division, Mimi Majumder said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ujjwala Yojana, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Ujala Yojana, and many other schemes were initiated which were dedicated to the women of our country.
“PM Modi has brought a new dimension to women empowerment across the country, where women are being benefited at large,” she said, adding that PM Modi has taken several initiatives towards the overall development of women, their safety, security and most importantly empowerment.
