Rajendra Reang files nomination for Tripura East LS seat

The former MLA and I.N.D.I.A bloc candidate for the Tripura East-ST seat Rajendra Reang submitted his nomination papers to Dhalai District Magistrate Saju Vaheed A on Tuesday. He was accompanied by the Leader of Opposition and also the CPI (M) state secretary Jitendra Chaudhury, Senior Congress leaders and others.
A rally was organized before the submitting of the nomination papers. The rally was attended by senior leaders of CPI-M, Congress and other parties.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominated candidate for the East Tripura constituency Kriti Singh Debbarma on Thursday (28th March 2024) filed her nomination papers in the office of the Returning Officer at Ambassa.
