Women to ensure big win for BJP in 2024, says Mimi Majumder
Claiming that the women would play a big role in bringing back to power in 2024 Lok sabha elections, Tripura Pradesh Mahila Morcha president and former MLA Mimi Majumder on Saturday slammed the opposition parties CPI (M) and Congress, accusing them of not giving women any space in their agenda.
Talking to our correspondent Tripura Pradesh Mahila Morcha president and former MLA Mimi Majumder said that BJP has been consistently working for the welfare of the women after assuming power under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2014.
She said that BJP has kept the economic, social, educational advancement of women at the centre of the government’s schemes under the resolution of women empowerment. “PM Modi has brought a new dimension to women empowerment across the country, where women are being benefited at large,” she said, adding that PM Modi has taken several initiatives towards the overall development of women, their safety, security and most importantly empowerment.
The state BJP is determined to gift “two lotuses” to PM Modi in the Lok Sabha election. We should pledge to win the two Lok Sabha seats with majority votes and gift it to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We are determined to gift two Lotus from Tripura to PM Narendra Modi in the LS polls to strengthen his hands for a stronger & prosperous India, She added.
The state has two Lok Sabha seats that have been with the BJP since 2019.
