Sudhanshu Das and Shukla Charan Noatia flags of Insulated Road Milk Tanker
Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Animal Resource Development, Fisheries Sudhanshu Das and minister for Cooperation, Tribal Welfare (TRP & PTG), Welfare of Minorites Shukla Charan Noatia flagged off the 5000 Litre Capacity Insulated Road Milk Tanker at Gomati Dairy premises, Indranagar on Tuesday.
Addressing in the event Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Animal Resource Development, Fisheries Sudhanshu Das said that the production of milk in the state is less as compared to the consumption of milk in the state. To overcome this shortage of production of milk in the state, the government has taken several initiatives to help the farmers to increase the production of milk in the state, he added.
Special Secretary & Director of ARDD Dr. K Sasisikumar, , Principal Secretary of ARDD B. S. Mishra, Chairman of Gomati Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd., Agartala Dairy Samir Das and CMD of Gomati Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd., Agartala Dairy A. Bhattacharya was present in the event.
