The BJP-led Tripura government is working for overall development including the development of the Healthcare system which is a priority sector of the present state government, said Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while addressing in a Blood Donation Camp organized by Shibnagar Modern Club & Amra Tarun Dal on the occasion of their 71st foundation day celebration at Shibnagar on Sunday.
The state government is fully committed to the development of medical services and the enhancement of overall healthcare infrastructure in the state, and in line with this commitment, the government has significantly increased the budget allocation for the health sector. Overall, the government aims to develop Tripura as a health hub,” said Dr. Saha.
The state government is diligently working towards improving the health infrastructure. Currently, there are two medical colleges and hospitals in the state. The process of establishing another private medical college is underway, he added.
The Chief Minister said, “I want to appeal to the people of our state to cooperate with the government. Our government is a pro-people government. Our main aim is to how we can help people and how they can be benefitted. Our government is working to provide all kinds of benefits to people and keeping a close eye on their problems. All the ministers, MLAs are working hard. We are working to achieve the top performance. Our main priority is to solve the basic problems of common people”.
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Rajib Bhattacharjee and others were also present.
